Mark 5 was my favorite all around scope when it came out but I’m dumping them all now. My 5-25 shifted zero about 3.5 moa just riding in the truck on bumpy roads for 5 days. It never took an impact. MDT just did a YouTube video and they could change the zero by 3+ inches on the mark 5 by...
Well said, I think a year or two down the road will look very different in the stock industry. If I’m not mistaken ag composites has already lowered their prices some.
The alterra is sweet, but for less than half the price and not needing to glass bed, I feel like the Stockys vg is a no brainer and the rokstok when it’s readily available.
Not directed at me but I really like how the altitude feels in my hand and the grip through the forend. I also think it’s great offhand. Where is suffers is recoil control. There is a lot of muzzle jump because of how steep the heel to toe on the butt is and how much below centerline the recoil...
Pretty much any will be better than factory. The Rok Stok from unknown munitions is going to be the best. I’d go pre order one if I were you. The sticky stocks vg would be my second choice. They will be about half the cost of the other options with similar or in the case of the rokstok more...
Yeah the Christmas tree is really annoying. If nf ever comes out with a decent center dot reticle, I will definitely be sending mine back in for a new reticle. That’s good info on the trijicon, I’ll have to check it out.
I have both. Feature wise, reticle, and ease of use hands down go to Leupold. I think the pr-1 ffp reticle is the best I’ve ever use for a hunting reticle. My buddies and I jumped on board a couple years ago and they worked great at first, but now we are having issue with the scope holding zero...
