    7mm STW Saga continues

Fwiw... I have a 300 Weatherby ultralight that drove me crazy with load development...4-5" groups with almost anything was the norm at 200 yards. I finally started seating bullets so deep the ogive was almost in the case mouth.....Kabam...IT became a sub moa shooter...... I almost fell over at...

Anyone using the Dandy Omega Auto Trickler?

I have the Hornady auto dispenser and a little Dandy dispenser and use a bald eagle scale. I used to think the Hornady drifted but I would turn it on earley and let it warm up and it's been pretty stellar since then. It is supposed to be acurate to plus or minus .1 grain and I have found...

    26 Nosler - Very strange

Just curious...what kind of bear are you chasing "in Brushy country"? I would be thinking really different about bullet choice in brush. No plastic tip OR hollow point would be on my menu. Accuracy is almost meaningless for 100 yd hunting if its dangerous bear.

    26 Nosler - Very strange

I read a magazine article where they were testing either a ul weatherby or another lightwt and they had the same problem to a lessor degree till they seated deep. I've got 4 "normal" weatherbies that shoot great near "magazine" length so I fought the urge to try something different. But like...

Ballistic comparison of 2 25-06 factory loads

Another "plus" for Maniacs explanation. I've even seen slower loads impact HIGHER than faster loads on occasion.

    26 Nosler - Very strange

I've only had one rifle that acted that crazy. It is a 300 wby ultralight. I about half wore out the barrel on every decent hunting bullet and slow powder suitable and was barely "pie plate" at 200. Finally tried stuffing the bullets really deep...like ogive barely out of case mouth...

    "Budget Rifles" & Accuracy

You can pick up ventures around $350 on gunbroker. I just got a 708 and my first three hand load recipes all went under an inch w/5 shot groups. Got a bunch more to try but this could easily be the most accurate factory rifle under $600 that I own.

    problem bumping shoulder back

My sonic cleaner gets pretty warm and my shells are in for a while....not sure how you sonic clean. Any chance that and chemicals used could have an effect?

    problem bumping shoulder back

I hate camming over the press...I have several shaved shellholders that allow me full accurate control of head space. Shave about .010" off one and don't look back!

Larry Willis Belted magnum case-bulge dies

I would venture a guess that Larry has these made somewhere. It sure is possible that an intolerant die or two was made. Seems like at some point a few pieces of brass and the die should have gone in for testing. I've had to send dies back to forester a few times...one was fixed....one was...

Larry Willis Belted magnum case-bulge dies

I've got 20+ years of reloading for many calibers of belted mags and many different rifles. You gave a mythical response about shoulder bumping had something to do with it. The real problem is a chamber on the loose end of specs above the belt and a die that when it stops short of the area...

Larry Willis Belted magnum case-bulge dies

So...because YOU have never run into the problem it doesn't exist? The rest of us are idiots that don't know how to size brass. We should get YOU a forum topic headline here......."Ask MagnumManiac what YOU are doing wrong".

Factory neck dimension causes concentricity issues?

If you don't get good run out w/the redding try the steps in my post w/the full length traditional die. I promise it will work!

Larry Willis Belted magnum case-bulge dies

Absolutely loaded ammo can go through redding body dies. Just be sure shellholders don't pressure the primer area...I know of none that do. I've done it many times w/ rcbs, hornady, and lee shell holders.

Factory neck dimension causes concentricity issues?

You need to make small tweaks on the forester seating stem till the sizing ball gets centered. If you can't find it try this...remove the expander ball from the forester. Resize a case...I'll bet run out is near zero. NOW...run that case up onto a expander on an "upstroke" on another 30 Cal...
