Bigngreen - thanks for that. What powder's, oal's etc. did you try with the SST's? I use them exclusively in my .308 for close range shooting on our red and sika deer. Having a great run with them - no need for follow up shots! This is no doubt due to the moderate speed they are going (2650fps)...

Is anyone using the 150 SST in a 270wsm? I have used the 140 Abonds up to now..lethal at close range (up to 200 yards) but after that I find they pencil through - unless you smash bone. Will look to keep the 140's as a short distance load and possibly the SST's as a long range deer round...
