Am looking for load data for the 300 norma in a hunting rifle. Using h 1000 and wish to try both the 230 gr.as well as the berger 210 grain bullets. Am shooting a 24 inch bartlein barrel I 1/9 twist. In some development I am right at 2950-3000 fps with the230 bergersen. Anyone have any pet loads...

Well right about now I'mwishing I had done just that!!! At the time I couldn't find the reamer and now wish I had had one made....live and learn...the hard way!!! Its the main hunting rifle I have used and just burned up the barrel and wanted to try something else. Have killed 5 moose 1 grizzly...

I bought this rifle used 30 years ago and it was chambered that way and was a tackdriver. I went the drought of the 6.5 wsm as I have another one in a bench rifle and have the reamer. Just didn't know ofall the issues I was creating in the switch!!!

It feeds reasonably well now with the Pacific tool and gage metal but my problem is the way that particular metal hangs down. I started with the 5 round mag and have switched to the3 round mag by acid. It's the 6.5 wsm that I haven't made that chang with as of yet and was hoping for a better...

Am really wishing I had just rechambered to what they were but to late for that now....they both shoot lights out...just wont feed properly!! Thanks for the input and any recommendations to agood smith would be much appreciated!!

Pacific took and gage were the only bottom metal I could find for the mauser 98 actions.

When I switched to the shorter wider cartridge neither one seems to pop up correctly and they both jam. I have been told I need a straight magazine feed which I did in the 300 wsm....and it feeds better now but have to deal with the mag sticking down. I much prefer the bdl type in my hunting...

I have 2 custom magnum mauser action rifles...1 was chambered in a wildcat 30/338 a d the other in a wildcat 6.5/257 wetherbyy. I rebarreleb both to the 300wsm and the other to the6.5 wsm. Now neither of these rifles will feed correctly at all. Does anyone have any ideas on how can I correct...
