Has anyone shot a legendary arms works professional rifle?

I shoot only my reloads and they group about .60” so far. I’m satisfied with that.

Has anyone shot a legendary arms works professional rifle?

I have two Professional rifles, a 28 Nosler and a 35 Whelen. Both are awesome, no problems at all. Superbly accurate and top quality workmanship, I couldn’t be happier. And I like the muzzle brake system.

Has anyone shot a legendary arms works professional rifle?

Neither one of mine had a test target and only one had a pamphlet that you could call a manual. Did you buy yours from a dealer or a private sale ? I have heard recently that they dropped our Professional model and after that I also read somewhere that they in fact shut their doors as in gone...

    MRC Vs. LAW

I have two LAW Professionals, a 28 Nosler and a 35 Whelen and I couldn't be happier with both. Well put together, superbly accurate and both are comfortable to shoot. The bolt cycles more smooth in the 28 but I think thats because it has been shot more. As for customer service I have had no need...

Has anyone shot a legendary arms works professional rifle?

I'm shooting strictly handloads using either a 160 Accubond or a 168 LRAB. The Accubond hovers around the half inch and the 168 went 0.30 " with one group but note that I haven't been able to duplicate. I haven't had either rifle out lately because I have had serious lumbar surgery and it may...

Has anyone shot a legendary arms works professional rifle?

I bought two Professionals, a 28 Nosler and a 35 Whelen and honestly I couldn't be happier. Very well put together, superbly accurate and they fit like a glove. They are the nicest factory built rifles I have ever owned and I have had some dandies. Both rifles pretty much cover the spectrum...

Quick Load help with 28 Nosler

Has anybody worked with 160 gr. loads in the 28 ? I'm still trying to find powder that gives good results with a 160 TTSX or a 160 LRAB . I have a good selection of slow powders except for Norma 217 which is apparently The powder. Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated...

    240 Weatherby

Are any of you fellas playing with a 240 Weatherby ? I picked up a mint S2 Vanguard in a swap today and am anxious to start loading for it. Load data seems plentiful but it would be nice to hear of some pet loads that guys are happy with. Any info gratefully accepted and appreciated.

    270 / 08 ?

Several years ago now I bought a Rem.700 Ti in 260 and unfortunately it had a bad barrel. So knowing I like wildcats a gunsmith friend re-barrelled it to 270/08 and truthfully I am really enjoying it. Which brings the next question.... Is anyone else playing with one or am I the only nut on...

    6.5 Creedmoor loads

I took it out again today and the results were no different. 140 gr. loads using H4350 went from a worst of 2.230 " to 1.54 ". Two loads consisting of the 160 gr. Sierra over IMR 4350 and Win 760 both grouped exactly 1.30 ". Does that mean that this little guy prefers a heavier bullet?

    6.5 Creedmoor loads

Thanks, I will try those if I can find some. On this side of the Fence ( Canada ) it can be difficult if not impossible to find components sometimes. When I was going through my .264 bullet stash I found some Hornady 160 gr. RN so just for fun I made up a load and strangely enough that load is...

    6.5 Creedmoor loads

I'm using Fed 210 M primers, Hornady brass, 120 & 125 Nosler, 129 Hornady 160 Hornady and 140 Sierra bullets to start. As for powders I have an almost limitless assortment

    6.5 Creedmoor loads

I'm trying to find a load that my Howa Alpine likes. So far most loads tried have been nowhere near the inch, more like 1.25" to 1.50. It does not like the suggested powders H4359 or RL17. However, it only has a 20" barrel so maybe I cannot expect better.
