Both sides are over the same amount , i have not tried them on the scope i just got them and opened them and was like what the heck .

I got a set of 30mm rings and noticed that the top section of the ring is a little smaller then the bottom that is at the 30mm , i have never saw this in any rings i have ever bought . So is this normal for BO rings ?

I have a prostaff 7 on my R-25 and it does good i think it is clearer than my Leupold V6 but i have head of some problems with them tracking

After me few bad experiences with leupold i will stay away from them from now on and go with a swaro or night force and be done with it , i was all up in vortex but not so much anymore because their glass isnt as clear as i would like but might just be my eyes .

Ended up getting a savage 10 med heavy fluted barrel and a z5 BT instead of the xtr because I may want to hunt with it see why I can do with it

I know this had been beat to death i bet I am wanting to get into longer range shooting and have about 2300$ to spend and am really undecided on what to get , for the scope i was looking at the burris xtr and on the gun a savage 10 in 65 or 260. Just looking for a little advise .
