Go to the newer 140gr NBT ( not the old ones)or the regular NAB ( not the NABLR) and don't look back. Never had an issue and been using them for years.

Thinking about 6.5 PRC or a 270 WSM 6.5x47 Lapua or 7mm-08 would be better!

I shoot the 243AI with a Rock Rem. varmint 24"barrel. A bit heavy but shoots 1/2moa

I have been using new Win. brass, 40gr NBT and 11.0gr of LilGun seated at the lands. Accurate, cases are fully formed and no splits. I have tried PPU factory ammo and most all split.
