Has anyone else tried the Sensgard Zem31?? ... odd but I find it works, even on the range. Just put it on and leave the right side resting in my ear until I need to put it in. My left ear sings constantly but at least with the zem does not hurt after shooting. They're light but no good for cold...

Mark Sorry .. seem to have got crossed threads!!! ... mine is a Howa short action lengthened to take the 6.5x55 ... so what I wrote probably won't help you? Although fwiw I have a colleague who is looking to put a 300 H&H on a Long action Howa and his smith is happy it is possible. jon

FWIW Pete put a 6.5x55 on a Howa S/a and milled the nose at the rear of the mag well / lengthened the mag box. I know Pete as just been sorting a familly bereavement and is preparing for the IWA Show.in a week ... so he is probably against the clock! try a message on his site @ Roedale...
