Yes, that's what I'm looking at from SAC and PT&G. Do you know which one from PMA would fit the Patriot action? They have many options, but none call out the Patriot.

I'm looking at their Action Wrench #2, which is for round body receivers. I too would prefer an interior wrench, hence reaching out to PT&G and SAC.

Now my biggest issue is finding an action wrench that will fit. I'm reaching out to PT&G and Wheelers to see if their Remington 700 wrenches will work. SAC can't confirm if any of theirs will work, though I imagine if I can send them dimensions of the bolt lugs, etc., they could probably help out.

The damage is kinda in the middle of the barrel, so there's no cutting that could legally be done. Got the cleaning rod already, that's what finally ended up pushing the dowels out. Also, I already ordered a barrel, so I guess I'm committed.

I was trying to find the chamber length using a bullet with empty brass. X-Caliber actually has a 20% off sale right now. After posting here and elsewhere, the vote has been heavily in favor of X-Caliber, so I put in an order. The estimate lead time was almost 4 weeks faster with X-Caliber compared to McGowen, which also played to their favor.

That's essentially what I had to do with the Lehigh Controlled Chaos with some input from Lehigh, so I figure that's essentially what I'll have to do here as well.

I just got some 125 gr CEB Maximus's for my .270 Win. The only powder I have right now is StaBALL 6.5. I already reached out to CEB about load data and they don't have load data using StaBALL 6.5. I don't want to buy a new powder just yet. Does anyone have any suggestions for a starting point...
