Just filled out the application on line today for general tags for December 1st choice and January 2nd choice, tough odds but you can't win if ya don't play!! JR

Thats what we're noticing, right around 6-8% success for on range tags.

A buddy and I are thinking about trying to put in this year for tags. Were you hunting on the missile base or off grounds? It looks like the odds are steep in drawing tags even with an outfitter......................................JR

Thanks guys for all the advice so far. Were still trying to make up our minds on what we want to do. Might try a place in New Mexico that we hunted with 6 or 7 years ago. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Anyone here on LRH use Infinite Outdoors for booking hunts? I just happened across some of their post on the net and Facebook looking to use some of our WY points before a normal person is priced out of the sport. Just asking if anyone here has used them here or if it's just another scam in...

I could be wrong but from what I just read the other day; Colorado is thinking about doing away with the over the counter tags.....JRY

We are looking at that aspect also as far as doing the elk and deer first and the saving the antelope for the rocking chair hunt when we get really old..... Thats what my Granddaughter calls me!

I think 1 guy might have missed 1 year but the rest of us have 10.

Looking at using some of our Wyoming points next year for either Antelope, Deer or Elk before it gets too expensive for a mortal to afford the hunt. 3 buddies and I have 10 points for all 3 and are not getting any younger, were all in our early to mid 60's with 2 of us having some minor health...

While this is by far not long range, I passed up my yearly trip out west chasing Elk to try some Bear hunting because it was always on my bucket list to get one. I lucked out last Thursday while hunting with Tomah Mountain Outfitters in Maine with this 250-pound guy. 85 yards with my 870 loaded...

I had it happen yesterday while sighting in my 28 Nosler. My buddy was spotting for me and started giggling at every shot !

I'm the guy with the data on the Hammer spread sheet. I didn't have too much powder to play with when I was trying to see what the Hammers would do. I did feel that I should of had higher velocities than I ended up with. My gun is throated for Bergers 175 elites if that matters. I want to play...
