Thanks! That's how I feel as well, my last few have been a BDC type redical. That's why I'm leaning towards the boone and crockett, it has longer horizontal marks that provide a 10mph wind holds. I love the idea of a fire dot, but for what I want something without vertical amd horizontals would...

I agree with the Leupold VX 5 as well. I'm in the same boat as you, I'm about 97% that's the detection I'm going.
