Can i use my magneto speed during load development?

Here is a Magnetospeed V2 with a large brake on a 338 lapua This one is 72mm (2.83") long. The barrel is 0.9" at the muzzle. edit: 4" brake might be too long. See page 11 http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0150/8926/files/MagnetoSpeed_V2_Instructions.pdf The V2 can handle barrel dimensions of...

Accubond LR Comparison and G7 BC Test

Thank you for testing the bullets long range! If these LR Accubonds can keep up with the bc of similar weighted Berger VLDs it will be very nice. I am looking forward testing the 7mm versions when they get available.

    Review - SuperCHRONO Accoustic Chronograph

Be aware. The superchrono must be level with the bullet path, not with the ground. Due to the relatively slow propagation of sound waves it is very important (more than on traditional light sensor chronos) If you use your time to set it up properly I it seems to work very well.

Example on self-spotting with camera and spotting scope

Here is a video I made the other day from some shooting at 1000 meters (1100 yards) Camera setup here is the Nikon Fieldscope 50 ED with a 27x DS wide eye piece and a cheap Panasonic DMC-FS35 compact camera. Shooting steel @1km (1100 yards) with Kelbly Atlas in 7mm/300 WSM - YouTube

Kelbly Atlas "custom factory" rifle thoughts

Shooting steel @1km (1100 yards) with Kelbly Atlas in 7mm/300 WSM - YouTube Tried her at 1000 meters (1100) yards yesterday with some 162 A-max. I really need to practice my wind reading skills, but I got 7 of 10 shots on the plate. The scope was an IOR 2.5-10x42. At these ranges I miss...

Kelbly Atlas "custom factory" rifle thoughts

Haven't shot her more that approx 20 rounds yet as I am waiting for a silencer to mount on it. But she seems to be well crafted. Tight and smooth. I will give a report on accuracy when I have shot her some more.

    Applied Ballistics Mobile app

Bryan, at what velocities are your custom drag curves collected from? In other words, how far out can we trust them? For the 338 Hybrid it seems to be pretty mutch identical to the built in G7 value out and beyond 1500m. (0.1 mil difference @1500m, 0.3mil difference @2000m) Edit: forgot to...

Kelbly Atlas "custom factory" rifle thoughts

My purpose with this gun is hunting and shooting steel plates in the mountains. I have a small private range with steel plates from 500-1200 yards that is not accessible by cars or ATVs. I have ordered it in 7mm WSM and this will fill the "medium to long range" hunting gun gap in my line up...

Kelbly Atlas "custom factory" rifle thoughts

I have ordered one of these in 7mm WSM. Should be shipping any day now! Seems like they try to have them in stock, which means short delivery times for customers.

Example on self-spotting with camera and spotting scope

Been testing a couple of other ways to film my shooting. I found a cheap videocamera with 52x optical zoom that is "good enough" for most of my shooting. Here is a a video first with this camera and then with a FFP-scope/compact cam combo at approx 900 meters (984 yards) 6.5x55 900m 130...
