SOLD/EXPIRED Deal found on Trijicon Tenmile 5-25x50

Thanks for the replies and all is good. Scope would be on a .223 AI shooting 53’s between 300-600 yards mostly. I like to dial but have a couple that I’ll use the hash marks. John

SOLD/EXPIRED Deal found on Trijicon Tenmile 5-25x50

So would this particular scope being discussed be suitable for varmint hunting, particularly prairie dogs? I’m in the market for a scope in this range and this one sounds intriguing. Thanks, John.

    New guy from Kentucky…

My last name is Dant which is the whiskey Dant’s. My kin folks started a distillery a couple of years ago that is doing pretty well. It’s called Log Still and is quite a place. If your into bourbon it’s well worth checking out or go online. I hope I’m not out of line by posting this here.

Although I’ve been a member for about 2 years I rarely post so I feel very new to this place. I do lurk on nearly a daily basis as there is much information here. Look forward to participating in more threads in the future. John

    W748 in the 223 Remington

I used 27 gr. of 748 behind 50 gr. BT. In a custom barreled 700 .223. Can’t remember the velocity as it wasn’t real fast. However, it shot a group in 1’s and when the barrel was fairly new 1/4” was not uncommon. Like others have said, it is temperature sensitive which I didn’t care for. John

    Best 7mm mag primer

FWIW, I use Fed 215 in my .280 with 60 gr. of R22. It did better in accuracy and SD than the Fed 210. Curiously, they gave a little less velocity. John

    Who needs a rifle ?

Hey Hitman, were you featured in the Varmint hunting magazine back in the 90's? Seems I remember an article about a WV groundhog hunter that was a retired dentist. Anyway, that is an amazing # of whistle pigs. Congratulation. John

    6.5 Creedmoor free bore?

Ok thanks for all replies and Merry Christmas. So does anyone know of a smith that has a 6.5 CM reamer with about a .130 free bore? Thanks, John.

    6.5 Creedmoor free bore?

I’m going to use a Ruger 77 tang safety sa so I believe my magazine is set. And as you mentioned, when I can round up some components, I will assemble a dummy round and see what I get. I hope to do this with a 120 gr. Nosler. Thanks, John.
