I just finished my build....Stevens 200 in .243 was the parent rifle, I know have a 7-08 w/26" shilen barrel, boyds stock, and SAV-1 trigger. I bedded the action and slapped a Vortex HS-T 6-24 on it. So far, I've been able to shoot .75 MOA at 100 yards...but am still working up loads for it.

Thats good to hear. I'm going to keep shooting these SSTs for the time being...but I will pick up some AMAX's as that was what I wanted to shoot to begin with.

The 6-24 HS-T was a brand new release....I pre-ordered and got it fairly quickly. From what I gathered, the only main difference between the HS-T and the PS-T is the HS-T has a wire reticle while the PS-T is an etched reticle. So far I like it, but I haven't had a chance to shoot much at...
