I just recently purchased at .33 nosler .. My first rifle or .338 caliber size .. I reloaded 225 accubonds with 80 grains of rl 19 and it 2970 FPS out of a nosler m 48 custom . 26 barrel + 3 inch of break .. very impressive .. it’s not a joke . Wow

I cleaned the riffle thoroughly
I used a hornady lock and load oal...
Thanks very much with the reply .. I actually bought a tiptons bore guide and a tiptons fiberglass one piece rod with some brass and nylon brushes .. I did a barrel break in trough 35 rounds first 20 cleaned and let cool after every round .. next 3 shots let cool then cleaned .. picked up some...
I did have the two Caldwell bags full of sand .. I saw I was a gr over on load .. the scope used is a Swarovski z-3 4-12 brx .. leup rings and bases 1/8 above barrel .
As for the shooting this morning .. best group .. imr 52 gr 140 nosler partition .. shot 1.25 inch @100 .. I need better than that .. off of a lead sled
I’ll try to track down retumbo .. local spots don’t have any I also made 5 rounds of IMR 4064 at 52 grains .. they shot better . Is the imr 4064 slower burning than rl 22?
Truly glad for all the response .. I am on my way to the range now I’m hoping that 60 grains of rl 22 isn’t to hot .. a little over 80 percent stuffed .
