Hornady makes pretty good brass and you can buy it in large quantity. The biggest variation that I've seen in the last to lots that I've bought was 1 grain plus or minus and it has made it through 6 reloadings so far.

Not really, you need to find the load that shoots best and then figure out your adjustment for whatever speed your bullet is going. The Hornady 4DOF app is really good for that.

I run 34 or 34.5 grains of Varget behind168gr Hornady BTHP's . Same load as the Hornady match ammo you can buy off the shelf. I start at 33.8 and work up when I get a new batch of powder. At least in my rifle it is always between 34 and 34.5 that shoots the best. Good luck

Very common problem, one of the guys I work with used to work @ Hornady and was saying that they burned 3 barrels to get their load data finished for the 10th edition reloading manual. I'm not one to call things barrel burners withiuw having tested them first

I have tested some 28 Nosler at work and we started seeing accuracy degredation at about 250 rounds

Should have added that this is what I learned in the military and I use mils at work on an almost daily basis so I end up having to look up what the MOA equivalent would be. Mils on the other hand are just second nature anymore
