I get almost identical velocities with H1000 or Retumbo. 31" barrel , 300 grain AB, Nosler custom brass, CCI mag primer, 89 grains of either and 2810 fps. I feel Retumbo might group slightly better but they are very close.

I tried both powders and preferred retumbo. 90 grn, CCI primer, Nosler brass, 300 gr AB, SMK, or Berger. I'm now getting 2830 from 30 1/2 inch tube. The Sierra book goes way higher than this but I can't in my rifle.

My favorite is 90 gr retumbo, cci mag primer, 300 smk, 3.653 coal. 2820 fps in 30 1/2" tube

I bought one of the cheap Simmons spotting scopes and am not impressed. I can see more of the holes in my target at 600 with my 32x Burris rifle scope than with the 60 x Simmons. The 60x makes things very big but big does not give a qualtiy view.

I use my burris Black Diamond 8 x 32 on 20 to 32x. Depends on the conditions.

This is not on a .308 but a .338. It had a tight standard reamer used on it and still when you neck turn down your brass to anywhere near even, say .125" the you have .006 or .007 neck clearance which is pretty sloppy and also leaves you with almost no neck tension with standard dies. Does any one know what moa group I could expect from match 300 WM out of a Sendero with a decent scope?

I have a 338 Rum with what I am told is a 31" Krieger in 9.35. Average group is about .4 with the best at .17 and several in the .2's. Gun has a lot of work done to it.
