Take a look at these two images. Left is a big-box discount safe ... notice the locking pins (total of 5). Notice the safe on the right ... it has 13 locking pins that are heavier/longer. Left safe OK for children. Right safe would be preferable for theft prevention.
I agree. There is a difference depending on if you are simply trying to lock up some guns to keep the children away from them, or if you are trying to protect against theft/ fire damage. In my mind the big box safe offerings (low $$$) will work for the first ... but you need to buy a "real...
Even though they list PayPal, I would imagine they will only accept FRIENDS and FAMILY for which there is no protection ... if you use PP that way there are no chargebacks etc as it was not deemed a transaction - it was a gift.

I had to chuckle when I read this, as it seems these days not arming the LabRadar is the only reason I miss a shot! I just extended the ARM time setting to 5 minutes. Now if there was only a way to remind me to arm it after starting a new series! LOL
There is a learning curve to the LabRadar unit in terms of aiming it properly. There are devices that can be purchased to assist in this.
There is also a possibility of the LabRadar getting confused by multiple guns firing at a range, especially of someone is at the next position. An...
