Old nubie in Nor Cal

Which guns do you use for predator hunting?
Short bbl 223 on a Contender pistol, Hornaday SJX from under a white sheet in the snow at night. My friend John calls them in with a dieing rabbit call. got a Bobcat at about 20 feet one night! -
