Out of those two, for long range, with out any reservation I would choose the STW. Great round IMHO. Jim

The stock should fit your rifle without any problems. It will definitely be free floated, as 1.2 inches at the forend is wider than your barrel. I would skim bed it as others have mentioned. Also, if you want to sell your HS stock for s decent price, shoot me a pm. Jim

I used to have an Accumark in 300 WBY. Very nice rifle. Accuracy IIRC was 3/4 MOA. I've had several 300 wby's, including a Southgate, German, and of course Japanese. All were very accurate. If I didn't have an affinity for the 338 cal's right now, I would have one in my battery. Jim
