And like the man says, hogs, especially upwards of 200lbs or more, are equipped with a "shield" of gristle, which encircles the heart, shoulder area, and it takes a tough bullet to penetrate and cause enough damage to kill..I've butchered hogs that had old bullets and cavities that had healed...

As a bolt man...sometimes I push pressures to higher points than any autos that rely on standard pressures...when I do, the primer is an indicator of any problems in high pressure, so I want to make sure the primer pocket is kept tight, and no polishing, no matter how little, is going to help...

Never had one to fail, both near and far....and find no fault with them except they blow too big a hole if you don't want to waste any meat....but that's just as well, and better than losing one....

.220 Swift still hangs in there and at 4100 or better, depending on handloads...
