I shot both today and my BLR defiantly liked the PMC 308 as opposed to the Win 7.62 M80. The 7.62 had bubbled looking primers(slightly domed shape) as if a headspace issue and printed 3" higher at 50 yards than the 308. Extraction was normal with both loads. The 308 PMC primers looked very normal.
I have a BLR I'd like to mount a compact scope like the Leupold VX-6HD. Are there any other scope makers that offer the quality but at any cost savings?
I did settle on the 30mm Seekins machined picatinny rings.
If in the wrong forum I apologize. Should I have any problems shooting and/or extraction with factory 7.62x51 Nato ammo in my 308 BLR, or Ruger bolt 308? Thanks in advance.
When did CCI first start using the dark blue box with the silver "swoosh"?
I've got some of these blue box primers with the lot# of K15B302, but based on the old lot ID scheme these were made in 1996. The best I remember in the mid 90's the boxes were the old white and red variety. I believe...
I have a FX120i too, while I don't really need the great resolution, I like the no drift and instant display which speeds production. Also I'm a big fan of quality equipment in any of my hobbies.
