ATF eForm 4 Reduced Wait Times?

Man, I just spent my play money for the quarter on something else but seeing these lead times ia getting me awfully jittery. Kind of hard to believe it’s happening, I’m really happy for everyone. I already qualify for hearing aids, maybe I can petition the parents for an early 40th gift. To...

    Hornady Brass Opinions

I have used it since I started reloading 5 years ago, I just started refurbishing factory ammo brass and naturally focused on what I had the most of. I got very good results right away across a huge range of age and batch and original product line. It's only gotten better as I've added steps...

    Suppressor use question

Oh that’s great, nice area for that. that’s roughly where I grew up. E of augusta, but had family and friends right up through that corridor. I would think you’d see some, we had a bunch back when I was around and the amount of small game for them has only exploded since. Good luck and enjoy it...

    Suppressor use question

Just don’t leave the interstate in Massachusetts! All my heirloom guns are still in Maine because I can’t pass through MA without stopping to visit people, which becomes a huge liability under Mass law. I think you’re good as long as you transit right through. Obviously they’re not after you...

Best overall powders for 25 06

I topped out at 3575 with h4350 beneath Absolute Hammer 90g. I actually had a huge velocity plateau of about a grain and a half at 3575+/- 2 fps. Fill is good. I might try RL 15.5 or 16 sometime to try to break 3600 just because but I'm not sure why.

Erik Cortina is going to do the Backfire challenge

Of course, there are definitely some, but I'm quite sure it's a minority of those who think they can. You're describing practice, most people don't, they just think they're naturally gifted because they are told so, just like the grown adults we see on I 15 getting nowhere but telling themselves...

Erik Cortina is going to do the Backfire challenge

Geniuses or not I love this trend. I live a few hours from the Backfire guys and every mothers son here in Utah thinks they’re all set at 700 without any practice. I think it took a rare level of humility (for Utah) to say “we ought to be honest about our abilities, and I am rethinking my...

    What bullet for 300wsm?

Would you consider dual loading? I found two wildly accurate loads that are exactly five clicks apart on zero, one is a very fast hammer that goes in the mag, the other is a gently bowled ELDM that rides in my chest harness. There is a ton of overlap, it's not necessary and they'll both shoot...

Why do you use Match bullets hunting?

I would have liked to have seen "they have specific use at extended ranges where hunting bullets are less violent as they lose speed" And also "hypothetically I'm willing to give up an exit wound and hard quartering shots for broad wounding and high margin of error on broadside shots only at...

    Looking for a new press

M press, coax ripoff of the Forster coax. Are you thinking about getting one? I like the die holders a lot and they’re always in stock at my local cabelas somehow. The shell plate needs preemptive modifications immediately out of the box and I’m happy to share what I did with folks.

    Bullets for 7 SAUM?

In my SA Saum the 180 eldm has been a treat. No blowups even in desert summer heat. Using a 5r barrel, I figure that helps. They are extremely delicate though, don’t be surprised if your barrel shreds them. It was easy to tune, unfussy about jump, nice to work with. Accurate enough for hunting...

How do you know SWFA mil or moa

Weird. I guess I didn't know about them until 17 or so. Edit, weird is the wrong word, interesting is more accurate. Wonder why. Oh well.

How do you know SWFA mil or moa

Someone is going to have to buy his listing so we can look through it and settle this mystery! I find the chance that they made a mixed scope extremely low. But still… just a look! Just give us a singular solitary peek!

What’s the farthest you have taken a big game animal with a rifle?

First bulls I ever saw were at 550 on the opposite hill in the trees and I knew they might as well have been on the moon. It would have taken me a full day to have a CHANCE at getting closer. Honest respect for anyone taking them past 600, even after 3 more years of practice. I didn't have a...
