As a 9.3x62 fan I'm extremely curious about the 36 Nosler. Any info on this cartridge would be readily welcome! Thank you.

I have a Vanguard s2 in .257 Wby and you can cover 3 shots at 100yds with a dime. Handloads of course. THe only factory loads I've found that will even come close is HSM 115gr Berger VLD hunting bullet ammo. Except, I have no use for Berger bullets in a hunting scenario!

I bought a Savage predator in 6.5 'man bun'. Could not make it shoot to save my life! Sold it to my kid and he shoots dime size groups!

In a sense, I must disagree. The elk populations at least in north Idaho, (oops), I better not make this sound too rosy, were tired of all the non residents hunting over the top of us! Yep people, the elk hunting in Idaho is really gonna suck this year, stay home.....please!!

St. Maries here, we go hunt plan B when we see a rig parked at a gate. Plan B can also be going out to another gate and walking in to a spot and letting them push to you. There's advantages to knowing the country, I've shot scads of deer and a few elk using this tactic.
