I shoot Black Hills ammo in my 308. Will I harm the barrel or affect accuracy if I shoot military FMJ or other cheaper ammo in this gun? I always thoroughly clean my gun after each shooting session.

Most still cameras use a 50mm lens as normal eyesight, a 100mm lens would be 2x magnification, 200mm 4x etc...That might help.

I stopped by Badger Ord. in Kansas City to but my base and rings, and they suggest that I used Loctite green or red on the base. They told me to clean the parts with a degreaser and apply a thin film of Loctite. The main reason is to prevent rust. Hope this helps a bit.
