Lube outside of necks with bushing dies?

Apples and Oranges. You are lubing the bullets, and I'm lubing the inside of the case necks. All kinds of ways to skin the cat. F

Lube outside of necks with bushing dies?

I think anybody having trouble with graphite building up and being messy are using way to much of it. I use a body die then a bushing die for the neck. I dip the neck in Imperial dry lube container, tap of the excess on the edge of the container and size.... Outside of the case neck sized...

    Chamber Length?

I use the chamber length gauges also. I find that the cut length of most chambers is usually longer than the "max cartridge OAL." Knowing the length of your chamber will allow you to run a longer neck, reducing the size of the carbon ring. I have never trimmed a case to the "trim to length."

Definitely don’t want to zero with a magnetospeed!

I usually work up a load and then use the MS to get the ES, SD, and velocity. I also keep the muzzle the same distance from the end of the mount and the bayonet level across the bottom on all my rifles. It will still change point of impact a bit, but not more then 1- 1-1/2", usually up and...

    Shipping a gun

Yes pack it well. I ordered a Savage F/class rifle from a stocking dealer, it is a long heavy gun. When I went to the dealer to pick it up, the barrel was sticking out of the tape on the end of the box. The tape was there because it had gone through before.

    Mixing Different Lots Same Powder

Different plastic used for the powder thrower. All I'm saying is, if you are going to mix powder, try to use the container it came in if you are trying to avoid static.
