Go retro and find a 6.5x55mm, preferably a Sako 75. Top it off with a Swarovski Z6i 3-18x50, run Hornady 143gr ELD-X through it and you'll have everything you need.

The joy of being this side of The Pond, is that I can stoke up my modern 6.5x55mm action and not have to worry about being shamed by anything designed since 1893 :-)
Why not ignore the herd and go with a 6.5x55 Swede. A modern action can be loaded sufficiently to match the Creedmoor and x47.
