I like my Oregon 450, because it works with .jnx map format. So, I use Google map, but gps does not support it by default. Also recommend this solar charger: PowerFilm Solar Charger (PF-BB-6AA) : Chargers & Testers - Future Shop I have already tested this equipment on 3 days hike.

>Garmin have a limit of 100 tiles for custom maps. But it is posible to bypass this restriction and create any size .jnx gmap for garmin and fill up all space on 16Gb micro sd card. If you do not know how, I can do it for you. :)
