How accurate is your .260? It's a great cartridge but I know some of the Remington Mountain Rifles didn't shoot very well until a bunch of money was poured into them. (Same issues the Model 7 rifles had.) I'm sure I would replace the trigger, most likely with a Timney. Hopefully that would be all it would require.
