Anybody using H1000 in 270 WIN? I'm shooting 140 gr Accubonds, and thought I may want to try some.

First rifle I ever bought was a Browning A-Bolt synthetic stalker in 270. Shot extremely well out of the box, then I had the trigger worked on- unbelievable accuracy with 130 gr NBT's over 54.5 gr H 4831sc.

I've been giving some thought to trying 140 grain Hornady SST's in my .270 WIN. Anyone have experience with these bullets? Accuracy? Terminal performance? I've been shooting mostly Nosler, both BT's and AB's. I like the performance of the AB, but have not been able to get the groups I want with...

I use Winchester brass and have had no problems.

130 gr NBT over 57.5 gr 4831sc consistently cuts ragged hole groups in my rifle.

CCI 200 primer, WIN brass, 60.5 gr IMR 4350, 140 NBT

Loaded up to 61 gr of H 4831sc prior to shooting over chrono- groups opened back up around 60. Velocity on group averaged 2967 with the 59.5 gr load, no pressure signs. 24" Kreiger barrel.
