BoomFlop, I have seen mention of the shell holder kir before but did not pay much attention to it.
How is it different than adjusting the die up or down? I can see where changing the shell holder to get a setting faster without trial and error. Is that the primary function...fast, precise...
Check out Rollin Oswald.."Stock fitters Bible". He is also on the Trapshooters Fourm. Great read. Don't overlook "pitch" on your stock. Your cheek will thank you!
Good luck.
Good discussion. I like "Epic wipes"
www.epicwipes.com.
Different sizes. Small to extra large.
Used them in Alaska and Wyoming on extended trips. Worth it!
I second Dillon Dies, Titegroup powder & CCI primers. Also the same for Xtreme bullits
Do a search for "plunk" testing using your barrel/chamber as a case gauge.
Agree with 65WSM. K&M makes mandrels to your spec

Check out their download for tool instructions when ordering
They make great products & have great customer service.
I did shoot left to right within an 8" spread.
That make sense. I have really been thinking of getting a magnetospeed. My buddy is getting the Lab Radar. We are going to compare each of them. I am thinking the magnospeed will be easier to set up.
Thanks for your info!
I thought about that. Barrel was barely warm between shots. Match barrel. Not saying the chamber didn't get warmer....that is a great idea to monitor. Next string I will take more time between shots & strings. My buddy suggested a digital infared thermometer.
The jump was not a lot. And it...
Thanks L.Sherm & archp625 for the advise. I will load up some light loads and shoot thru the chrono & look for velocity increase. Or do you suggest using the load that I have been using. Was just thinking of saving powder.
Cheers
