Start over with a clean slate, new brass, and start load. Note when the problems start and back off.

I'd wash my hands of the barreled action, can the stock, cut my losses and let it be another reason not to deal with Cooper. Too many better choices. g

What gun and what rail. If the rail is there in place of standard bases and if it runs under the scope bell, saw it off where the bell wont hit it.

Don't think the 700 Mountain DBM models will swap over into a 700 Mountain BDL stock. So there is that. I think it has to feed from the Detachable Box Magazine. g
