    Remage/Savage build

I have had a couple savages over the years but never kept them around until the last few years. I bought a Model 11 in 243 to punch to Ackley and do some switch barrels. Every time I try to get out of them I get a great deal on another and I'm back in the rabbit hole. I now have 3 set up and...

What Reloading Countertop Surface Material do you use?

If the wife is moving out to the shed I would get a smaller bed and put it right where she slept! Maybe I misunderstood. Lol If that doesn't fly I would use butcher block counter top, fairly cheap to buy at Lowes as mentioned. You could still put in T trac or lay a piece of metal over the area...

    NEVER should've done it

I really thought about trying TSS shot until I saw the price. We typically call our birds into decoys and shoot at 15-40yds, usually under 30yds. Went and checked my inventory of copper plated lead Turkey loads and looks like I have enough for about 30yrs for my son and I. Couple birds a year...

    Customer service Frankfort arsenal

I agree with you. I just received a FA Intellidropper from UPS tonight. I contacted them that my 3 year old Intellidropper failed. They stood behind it 100% and said they would send me out a new one in 7-10 days. 6 days and it was here, great company. I did go through last night and set my new...

Ever See Donkeys in with Livestock?

My best friends aunt and uncle raised Bulls. They would hook a donkey to a bull if it needed broke to lead by rope and halter. Those donkeys would set back and those bulls could not pull them around.

    Kitchen renovation appliances

Sad to say is most technicians will tell you these appliances wont last much more than 8-10 years, at the most. As mentioned if something breaks you sit and wait forever for a service appointment and good luck on getting it fixed the first time. So back to the OP question. Cook with a wood...

    Kitchen renovation appliances

We went with GE on our kitchen then GE on new dryer. Our appliance person is someone we know very well and he recommended them as many others even if dependable are very hard to get parts for. We have been very happy with them. My mother bought a Samsung Fridge, 2nd one and they both have been...

    Gray Wolf Killed Michigan LP

We don't have Mountain Lions in Iowa either yet pictures of a few getting killed show up. They aren't protected as they don't exist. Some of my friends have them show up on the trail cams each year. I believe more get killed but the 3 SSS's are practiced. A few people have learned that putting...

    Gray Wolf Killed Michigan LP

About 25 yrs ago I started hunting with my buddies that live in the LP but owned land about in the middle of the UP. I can remember sitting in the cabin and them talking about the DNR releasing wolves in the LP but doing it within a few miles of a couple poultry farms. That would have been late...

    Remington 541 magazine

I'm sorry I didn't reread my post. I meant to say unless someone wants to get rid of their factory mag for $35 the Treker mag is your best option. They did actually use to be around $40 and the Reed mag was about $70. Not sure if he is still making these or availability. [email protected] I...

    Remington 541 magazine

Unless you stumble on to a factory mag someone just wants to get rid of the $35 Treker mag is your best option. It works very well and will last. I personally like the John Reed mags, well worth the money.
