We always mixed a 50lb bag of di-calcium phosphate mixed with 50lb bag of trace mineral salt. Poured it on a stump or fallen log; refreshed it in the spring and fall. Eventually you only had was a hole in the ground to pour it in. It Deer tore it up.

+1 on 280 Ackely Improved. The decision should be made (as many have said) based on what you want to do with the rifle. Also make sure you take into consideration what components are available to you. I do not want build a safe queen due no ammo, dies, brass, etc. Good Luck with the build!!
