I have a question about the IOR scopes. most people buy 30mm tubes for the moa range. why doesn't the IOR's 35mm tube have more range, it says on their web site that their 30mm tube scopes have almost 20moa more. That doesn't make allot of sense to me, but then again i'm no expert.

The 300gr SMK is a very devistating projectile. It pretty much destroyed the front half of the buck I shot. We use the 175gr SMK in our 7.62 M24 and M14SDM rifles. Great external and terminal performance....One Shot-One Kill.

The 162gr SST from Hornady is what I have loaded for the last 4 years. Has a decent b.c.,is really cheap(100 per box for same price as any other) and has been absolutely devastating on deer from 25-500 yards. Plus they average well under 1/2 m.o.a from my heavy barrel savage.
