Out of the dozens we have shot off our ranch I would be happy with the noslers accubonds. We have shot them with everything from .22 hornet to (its my boredom sport rifle) .416 Ruger. Heads shots or bone breaking and they will be where ya put them at. We have taken a few with 150gr corelokt 7-08...
In my experience most folks never shoot 400 yards much less than 100 yards....I can tell you though.. If you painted 270 on a brick and mortar home... folks would leave the trailer park and be home owners.
Well just confirmed it at the gun shop a factory Tikka in 6.5cn is all you need. The owners shoots sub 1/4 moa at 750 yards on a moving target. He wouldn't hesitate to harvest any game at 1,000 yards either.
I am 33 just had another lamenectomy and a discectomy...I get the pain and everything the spasms suck. Don't stop now and give up over it. I meet way to many people who are infected and all ate up with the "what ifs" and "should haves". I refuse to quit and not do something because of my back.
One single piece of cleaning media jammed my 416 solid in the press the other day. Hard as hell to remove that thick brass. Bigger cases seem to do better with wipe on lubes for me.
It is not the same but we picked up a C. Sharps built .45-70 on a 1885 winny action for dirt cheap... I put lee shaver sights on it and man.. Is it fun.
