Yes, it would be with hand loads. I suppose the best way to test this is to take each load to pressure signs for a max velocity. Then you could find the “best” (most accurate and velocity) load in each and compare as well. Now to convince the wife I need to spend 4k for scientific purposes🤣

Good info! What I would really like to do is a prc/ win mag side by side velocity comparison. Most comparisons run the prc with a 220-245 bullet and a wm with a 180. I'd like to see same gun, barrel length, powder type, brass, and bullet (215). Would be interesting to see the difference
