With farther research, the builder talked me into the atacr 4-16x50 F2. So I guess light weight is out the window. Worse case I can always put it on my range gun. From what I am reading the atacr is much better in low light then the nsx.
I am building a small pack/ truck gun. Chambered in 22 creed. Looking for options on a scope. Want very clear glass for lowlight and great tracking. Was thinking of sticking with Swarovski z8i, but entertaining other options. I have several nsx NF however the glass is horrible in low light in my...
Thanks for all the info guys. I had two Encore’s u could jump on the trigger and it would not go off. I gave them away. Also not a big fan of a single or break barrel. If the barrel breaks open, it is for shooting dove or quail, where I come from.
Who is making a good shooting 22 creed? I just don’t want to spend the money on a full custom for the purpose of this gun. It will just be a zero to 300 yard point and shoot truck gun. I have been seeing a lot of varmints in our high fence. I hate to ride around town with A $10,000 full custom...
I like the Bergers, just not at close high speed ranges. Both of those deer were shot inside of 200 yards. However we did a cull eue auadad hunt in Texas and shot 37 from 400-978 yards and they were awesome all DRT.
Problem is I had to finish off both of those bucks with a knife, when I walked up on them. Notice I said bullets blew up on impact. Don’t get me wrong they were both down in their tracks. But zero Vital organ damage.
Those pics are why I am not a fan of Bergers at close range. Both of those pics are the entry side. Notice the large entry hole on both when you zoom in. Both times the bullets blow up on impact. Had the same issue what a stw shooting 195 Bergers on a bull elk. Have had the same issues with eldm...
