I’m selling 12x42 SWFA mil/mil scope. Comes with rings and scope cover. Barley used less than 20 shots on scope. I am selling because I use MOA click value scopes. Asking 240.00 obo. Shipping costs added on depending where you live.
I made a home made annealing machine. If you look on you tube there are bunch of videos on them. Its basic but works! I didn't want to spend the money on bench source. I probably have 50 dollars in mine and 2hrs of my time.
I have a sako A7 rough tech range with 26 inch barrel chambered in 7RM. I am using retumbo with cci br2 primers getting single digit es using 180 eld-m. The velocity is 2983. I do anneal as well I found this to help.
So a few weeks ago I started thinking about what are the advantages or disadvantages to a lighter faster bullet vs a slower heavier but higher BC bullet. I ran the number's for the Alco 168 and the 212 ELD-X on JBM calculator environmental all being the same. Alco 168 velocity input was 3500FPS...
I used 71.2 grains of Retumbo with the 180 ELD-M in my 7RM. Bolt lift was good. primers starting to flatten out no extractor marks. The 168ELDM i used 74 grains of Retumbo No pressure signs at all. I wanted to stick with Retumbo because it tends to be more temp stable than H1000 from what I've seen.
I've used both the 162ELD-M and the 180ELD-M out of a my 7RM. I like the 180's due to the higher BC for longer ranges. I am getting 3000fps with a 26" tube.
