    8mm rem mag data

according to the Sierra tech I have talked to, the reloader 22 is faster and more accurate at max suggested load. He hadn't tried the 7828 but planned on it, and thought it should be similar to the RL-22 as well. Hope you find something that works and gets that 1/2" I have found I can get a...

    8mm rem mag data

I know I'm seriously late to the party, hope I'm even later to my funeral, but here's my thoughts. I bought an 8mm mag soon after Remington put them in production, never did anything special to it but normal cleaning and care, and it has shot like a charm, 3/8" group at 100 last time. Factory...

My First Long Range Shot- Ever!

that's a thought. Actually there is a cut up on the hill, I THINK it goes to about 800, but it's weyerhauser and they don't allow target shooting. I thought I'd call and see if I could get permission just for this one test, dunno how accepting they woul be of that idea, but the worst they can...

My First Long Range Shot- Ever!

FREEKIN aweome, I can't imagine hitting 890 with a pistol, course I've never tried. Guess I need to expand my imagination and get somewhere that I can actually see that far. So many trees in western oregon the only way one can see 890 yards is lookig straight up, and getting a target up there...

New bullet maker that looks interesting

Correct, cohunter, that was my intent, and it did come out wrong. I'll cut the bad comments and try to be helpful and supportive from now on, thats my pledged. Again, I apologize to all for what turned out to be sub-par and improper.

New bullet maker that looks interesting

Agreed on one point, I should not have stooped to that level, although I was simply responding to ridicule towards me, and several other, noticably. Not like I started the rude comments, but you are right...I should not have responded to them and I apologize to all for having done that. I too...

Yeah, back to the subject, the 230 looks awesome. (sorry, my horse got away from there for a bit but sometimes ya gotta let the wild things run)

one of my lasting memories, mostly because it was a historic (almost tragically so) day, was a fishing trip up to Thompsons Reservoir. Lots of deer up there too, at leat then...that was the day Reagan got shot, I was on leave from the navy at the time. Fishing wasn't great but the scenery sure...

Oh yeah, the sage rats (wife calls em whistle pigs) and wild horses. We still make it to S Fork Crooked River on occasion, some beautiful wild horses run the west side there. Get some nice petrified wood, and hopefully a cougar one day, lots of em in there.

Yeah Rupe, I grew up on the west side, my wife grew up just south of LakeView on the CA. side...she loves the west, green and rain, and I love the east dry and cold. But I told her I'd move where she moves (and I have a job here that pays the bills) She loves the sun too, but has some blood...

OK enough, I'm jealous...(but happy for you) I do enjoy the west side too, I suppose I would enjoy anywhere in the outdoors.

obviously some good LONG range out there. I did a little shooting a number of years ago on the south side of little glass buttes to the north farther with a nice mountain as a backstop. Love that country out there.
