IMHO the plain old 06 is fine. I know you can shoot regular ammo in an AI but the 06 has plenty of speed for hunting.

About 250 yards on a running coyote with a Savage 110 in 22 hornet with open sites in Northwest Oklahoma when I was 16. I wish I could say it was all skill but it was mostly luck. I prefer to use my stalking skills and get a head shot if possible.

All rifles are diffrent and to many variables like bullet, powder, length of barrel. Long story short when a bullet goes subsonic it destablizes and pitches and yaws more and it hurts the accuracy. How much again depends on many many factors.

The law is NOT about the enviroment, but a back door to stop hunting and firearms ownership in general. I moved out a few years ago. Will not be going back.
