I have friends who live in White Sulpher Springs. They run the Twin Sisters Trading Co - Bodie and Alaina Morrison.
Several other friends in WSS have vacation properties in Monarch. Look up Josh Paddock in WSS. All good people.
Good luck.

MagnumMania , please state what other factors are involved. I profess not to have a lot of experience with this type of situation.
Yes, I have a barrelled action that is useless. It's a Schultz & Larsen M68DL, 7mm Rem Magnum.
thanks
Long story is : I lost a magnum faced bolt to an out of production european rifle (7mm Rem mag) and have yet to find a replacement. However, I have an opportunity to purchase a complete rifle of the same make and model in 264 Win mag. Is it feasible to use the bolt from the 264 Win mag in the...
PTG link shows two jig types. which one are you using?
I'm planning 2 Rem721 remage builds and possibly a Howa 1500 with nut. Worth the money to buy the jig???
Thanks.
Bultinkle, all I need to learn is how to get cell phone photos to my computer. Gosh, all I wanted to do was tinker around and build something. My Social media skills are non-existent.
I'm reminded of father saying to me, often things get to be like dog turds - the more you stir 'em the more...
I've started on a Rem721 - difficult to remove the barrel. Had to take a hammer and beat on the action wrench handle quite violently to loosen the barrel. Hopefully, the action isnt torqued. But the barrel is off. Now I''m wondering what the best way will be to ensure the recoil lug is...
GRG - your last post is essentially a written record of my thought process and actions the past few months. Everything you wrote I describes what I've been doing. The comments on this thread have confirmed and my assumptions.
Reading your post really made my day. Credit to you for taking...
Feenix : I've been asking myself the same question. The practice build experience is worth the money - it may help me make a more informed choice on a full custom build. Thanks for your suggestion.
The comments on this thread are extremely helpful. I'm learning alot listening to others.
Shane Lindsey - my concern with a shouldered prefit is after torquing it to spec then having it fail the go/no-go gauge test what's next - take it to a gunsmith? With your shouldered prefit build, which action were you using?
Thanks.
For those who respond, explain the reasons for choosing one action versus another. I have very little knowledge/experience with building rifles. I've just been shooting various US factory rifles through the years and would like to try my hand at building something unique while not blowing...
