    Best to consult a good gunsmith before you start, if you want it done right. Then if you are a skilled machinist, and have the equipment needed go ahead. It gets expensive if you screw up.

    Always had good luck with IMR4895, 40.5 grs w/ 100 gr bullet.

    I always liked IMR4895 40.5 grs gives you about 3115 fps in a 24in. barrel. good groups.@ 100 yds. out to 300. Never checked at longer ranges.
