You are right;) Anyway If i go custom i will still choose a 7.5 or 7 twist. With 264 Im forced to go custom, because factory rifles are 1 - 9 so it will probably strugle with 156:(
I know that they can shoot good in 8 twist, but my BC will be lower. I do lot of hunting below 0* C and at low altitude. According to berger twist rate calculator in my conditions, at 3100 fps my SG is 1.37. I need at least 7.5 to be over sg = 1,5.
Tell me more about xbolt in 26 ... I know it has nice 7 inch twist needed for 156. What about throat and mag? Is it long enough? I know that x bolt in 28N is too short to use 195 :( What about accuracy? Going with x bolt instead of custom would save me lot od money;)
Wish I can go with sherman, but its almost imposible due to fact, that I live in Poland. Actually, I dont even know if it's possible to register gun with non - saami caliber. Anyway supplying components will be pain too...
I will leave 6,5PRC and 6.5 - 284 too. Most of guys is reporting around...
As far as i know SAUM is wildcat, due to our local regulation i have to reject them:(
Im afraid that i cant find accuracy with those super hot loads im norma and PRC...
