Just another story that confirms my choice to switch to exclusively Nightforce.

I have a couple of the F1’s and I really believe some of the eye box issues are due to mounting difficulties since it’s so short. Depending on your gun, it may be hard to get it where it’s supposed to be.

Until it loses zero like so many from Leupold do.

I didn’t even see the guy try to use his rifle as a rest for his rangefinder. In the field, with nothing else to use, I’ve found that technique to be very handy. I can usually get a very stable read out to 500-600 yards doing that.

Haven’t looked into the guy enough to know the truth behind his channel but this certainly seems spot on with my limited experience of watching. Thanks for the clarification.

Not a fan of this channel for that very reason. Almost every video has a subtle undertone of superiority from a dude who has never proven anything that I'm aware of. Cortina’s channel is great.

It's why when I get a new car, I immediately take the muffler off and throw it away and get a muffler that can be taken apart and serviced. You guys driving around with all your clogged mufflers on your car. Those are throw away mufflers!

I can confirm that the velocity wasn’t up to what I was expecting. I don’t have the data in front of me, but it was slower than I expected. The 156gr factory Berger’s I also use, shot a touch faster than the 143 Norma’s.

I’ve shot the factory Norma in 2 different Browning X-bolts in PRC and in an X-bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor and in a Savage Ultralite in 6.5 Creedmoor and all 4 shot outstanding groups, under 1” easily.

Man, I would try a couple different cans before I went down that road. I have so many cans, and have shot them on so many hosts and never seen anything like that. Not saying it can’t happen but it just seems like it would be so rare thst a simpler solution exists.
