I wonder why you have all those reloading books in your reloading area?

Kiwi, My Tikka likes 24-25 gr of Varget or RL15 with the Nosler 77 gr CC bullet. P dogs at 300 accurate.

My wife's Rem 700 7x57 loves 150 partitions with 50-51 gr of RL 19. We had hoped to try the load out on an elk this past Oct but did not work out, elk didn't want to show their face.

I had several small problems with my 300WM. MRC took care of the problems but were slow IMO. I like the rifle with the only flaw being the weight, I'm old and fat. Not sure what the customer service is like now that Remington has bought them.

I have a Tikka T3 in a 8 twist but not the varmint model. I found that it likes Nosler CC 77 gr with 23.8 gr of Varget. Very accurate in the gun and should work great in the wind.

I have 2 223's, I shoot Nosler Custom Competition 77 gr in. One is a Tikka T3 with 8 twist, it likes 23.8 gr. of Varget. The other 223 is Savage Model 12, with a 7 twist and it likes RL-15 at 23.4 gr. also 77 Nosler CC bullets. Both guns will consistently shoot 1/2 inch groups when I do my part...

Feenix, We will be hunting some private lands & some public lands. Per the Outfitter we will do most of our hunting along the edge of farming lands in blinds. I n case you haven't figured it out, this hunt is going to be an old man hunt. I will be almost 71 when we actually hunt & climbing up...

Not wanting to butt in but what are your feeling about a 7x57 AI & 150's for elk at less that 200 yd ranges? The wife & I are planning to be in Montana late Oct/early Nov for elk. Outfitter has said all shots will be less than 200 and maybe less than 150. Thanks

The bedding job is in my opinion a very poor job. I have never done one so I am not a qualified expert on bedding. Stretching the rubber band under the tip of the stock & barrel made the groups different in that you could not see 2 distinct groups just a single large group. Removing the rubber...
