Adding pillars stops the crushing of the wood. Bedding the action properly stops any movement (if any) of the action during the shot. You could try pillars alone and see how that works. Right now, it sounds like your stock has been crushed by the tightening of the action screws over the years.

Have a competent person/smith pillar the action screw holes and bed the action. Then it's fixed forever and probably more accurate as well.

Not always. If I'm feeding a precision AR, I'll probably be using a different reloading method. Everyone has their own idea of how the build, care and feeding of their AR should be.

Everyone has their own idea on what an AR should be. You definitely learn some things on your first one. The rifle in its most basic form has killed thousands of enemy, so no need for too much bling.

I think Defiance is trying to unf__k their naming convention. Mine is described as SA. Talking with Wyatts, it is cut to accept his MBE-5 kit.
