I have been wondering if anyone has much experience with loading the 308 with either the 110 or 125 grain bullet? I have a 700 Remington Varmint and a Browning A bolt with the heavy barrel and Boss. Both do a good job with the Sierra 150 (2130) bullet but I'd kind of like to take these rifles...

I have The Nikon 6-18 Model 6476 mounted on a 243, 308 and a 270 all varmint rifles. I like um.

I've been reloading since 1964 and have pretty much using CCI 220 primers. Last year while testing some loads to take to Wyoming, I found some in a drawer that I know was bought sometime in the early 80's. I loaded a few rounds and compared them to the new ones I had. I can not see any difference.

I think I have the 75 gr Vmax, maybe a box but after seeing what I could do with the 87 Vmax I've started loading it pretty much as my main load. My bragging group is 1 1/4"@400 yards which is good for an old man.
