Im in the same boat as you currently. I just got my 10fpsr a few weeks back and am looking at a brake to match the OD of .800. Im thinking I will either have to get one with a bigger OD and live with the ledge or bite the bullet and have it turned down.
yea i hear thats an issue, im not used to wearing heararing protection becuase i usually only shoot 22 and shotguns. ill have to remember to wear my muffs tho
its more or less just a nice touch. it adds to the look, takes away some recoil and allows u to stay right on target to see where your hits are. most of this isnt an issue with 223 but it does make shooting a little nicer
very cool that you looked into the tikkas i was just going to recommend one from what ive heard. im looking into getting the super varmint in 223 with the 1:8" twist. i think ill top it with a bushnell elite 4200 tactical6-24x50. also looking into muzzle brakes just for the heck of it.
yea im not sure but i ran the specs from a federal softpoint 55 grn om the ballistics calculator and i ran out off adjustment arounbd 850. ill re run the specs to see what turns up tho
have you seen the link kansas45 posted? that scope looks amazing. from where i see it now i think that scope and the tikka would be a very hard to beat combo. i need to figure out how to mount a scope with a 50 mm objective and 20 moa shim. i think i will use the rifle for coyotes to so the...
