yeah its in the rear the mounting holes are even different on it. the bases are the same ones that were on the gun when i bought it so im gonna try new bases since i have new scope and new rings. it looks to me as if the difference is to great like if you are supposed to use a small in the front...

i bought new rings afrer i bought the new scope simply because the old ones would not fit on the scope. but yes i think i will try new bases first before i try anything else maybe different rings too. i dont really like the idea of shimming a scope. but if everything else fails can a guy put...
